According to Le10Sport, PSG are set to battle it out with Manchester United for the signing of Roma midfielder, Radja Nainggolan.
The French Champions have been linked with a move for Paul Pogba, but the FFP restrictions might force them to settle for a cheaper alternative. Roma midfielder, Radja Nainggolan has been touted as the back up option for the Parisians.
The Belgian international has enjoyed a spectacular season in Rome and has been linked with several moves away from the Serie A.
Van Gaal is thought to be keen on adding a combative central midfielder this summer and following Strootman’s injury, Nainggolan is thought to be a target for the Dutchman and Manchester United.
Roma coach, Rudi Garcia is reluctant to let the “incredible” Nainggolan leave, but the Italians will consider a sale, should they receive an offer in the region of 40 million euros.
Nainggolan is at the peak of his career and will improve any side he joins. The Belgian midfielder primarily operates in a double pivot and can play as a defensive midfielder as well as a box to box midfielder. His technique, passing ability and willingness to press makes him a complete package and an attractive proposition for all top teams.
