Juan Mata, I feel sorry for him. The future of that bloke has been speculated all throughout the summer and each and every time Jose Mourinho has had to come out and quash stories linking him with a move away from the bridge. Give the lad a break, on the Transfer Deadline day. Hang on!
According to latest news, Liverpool and French outfit Paris Saint-Germain have shown late interest for the Spaniard.
Radio Marca (note the source) are reporting that Liverpool have made a £25m move for Juan Mata which has been rebuffed by Chelsea. In an ideal situation that has to be the case, as in no way Chelsea are going to sell Mata to Liverpool, even though the Reds are not direct rivals by any stretch of imaginations.
However, a more authentic source L’Equipe are reporting that PSG are in for Juan Mata. Well, they have the money, they are ambitious, and they certainly can lodge a bid. But, with no further detail given about the story, we can safely classify it as utter rubbish for now.
We will still give you an update, if any new story surfaces about this nonsensical stuff…
