Liverpool will take on Fulham at the Craven on Wednesday night looking to consolidate their fourth position and close the gap with other rivals in the Premier League.
The Reds are heading into this match on the back of an emphatic 5-1 victory over Arsenal and manager Brendan Rodgers will be further boosted by the return of defensive duo of Daniel Agger and Glen Johnson.
Agger was picked up a calf injury during Liverpool’s FA Cup win over Oldham Athletic in early January while Johnson was given break three weeks ago to recover ankle and groin problems.
The gaffer in his pre-match build up confirmed that both the defenders have returned to full training and could be in contention to face Fulham.
Raheem Sterling’s form has been vital for the Reds in the past few months and his tactical adaptability has helped Rodgers to form a flexible trio up front with Suarez and Sturridge.
