Juan Mata turned 26 today, with pictures appearing on social media showing him enjoying the day with teammates Shinji Kagawa and David De Gea.
The Spaniard, who moved to Old Trafford for a club-record £37m in January, has been in good form recently, scoring five times in his last four games, and surely deserves a little time off to enjoy his birthday!
Writing on his official blog, Mata thanked his friends and family for supporting him throughout his footballing journey,
‘I came to this world on a day like this 26 years ago, time flies! I am pleased to celebrate one more birthday and to keep having a lot of people around me that give me affection and support everyday. People I know will be there forever. That is the best present to me.’
