The Reds have agreed a 49 million pound deal with the Premier League runners up for the European Golden boy, who underwent a medical today and is officially a Manchester City player now.
Sterling has been handed the number 7 shirt at City and has signed a 5 year deal worth in the region of 200,000 pounds per week.

Sterling made more than a 100 appearances for Liverpool since making his debut against Wigan and has been one of their best players over the last two seasons.
The England international will now link up with the likes of David Silva and Kun Aguero to form one of the deadliest attacking units in the country.
Sterling is one of the best U21 talents in world football and will continue his development under the tutelage of Manuel Pellegrini.
It is believed that QPR are set to receive a fee in the region of 10 million pounds due to a clause in Sterling’s contract when he joined the Reds from QPR. Furthermore, the England star is also set to receive a handsome loyalty bonus as he managed to avoid handing in a transfer request.
Liverpool are now likely to push ahead with their move for Christian Benteke and wrap up, what has been a good summer window for them.
