Manchester United suffered back-to-back league defeats, after the Red Devils lost 2-1 at Old Trafford to Steve Clarke’s West Bromwich Albion.
Morgan Amalfitano, on-loan from Marseille gave the visitors an early goal in the second half. Man United responded immediately with Wayne Rooney restored parity within three minutes.
However, the Baggies went in front again in the 67th min through Berahino’s goal and held on the lead till the end.
With this defeat, United have now lost back-to-back league games, having suffered a ignominious 4-1 defeat against Manchester City last weekend at the Etihad.
Moyes can take solace from the fact that City have also lost their league match, having beaten 3-2 by Aston Villa at Villa Park.
With those defeats, both the Manchester clubs lost on the same day in the Barclays Premier League for first time in over five years – last time that happened was in September 13th 2008.
But seriously, is Moyes looking out-of-depth at Manchester United?
