Former Manchester United Nicky Ajose has completed his move to Leeds United on Tuesday.
The 22-year-old forward joined the Peacocks from Peterborough United after joining them following his exit from Old Trafford in 2011. After joining the Championship side, Leeds manager David Hockaday has monitoring Ajose during his time at United’s academy.
“Nicky was involved with a very good group of players in the Manchester United Academy and he was one of the high flyers in that group. He can play up front in a number roles and he is very talented. He is a super professional and is an ideal addition to our squad,” Hockaday told Leeds’ official website.
Ajose failed to impress even with Peterborough, which saw him go away from his former club on-loan to Scunthorpe United, Chesterfield, Crawley Town, Bury and Swindon Town before joining Leeds on a permanent transfer on Tuesday.
