Celtic forward, Moussa Dembélé, has attracted a lot of interest from several European giants with his blockbuster performances in Europe, as well as in the league this season.
The young Frenchman was exceptional against Manchester City in the Champions League this season, and bagged a brace against the Premier League giants in a 3-3 draw.
As per the latest reports, Manchester United are looking to sign Moussa Dembélé. Apparently, Mourinho likes the player and has already scouted him in the past.
Earlier this season, there were reports that Real Madrid, Chelsea, and Manchester City are keeping tabs on Dembélé as well. The Celtic star has scored 16 goals in 25 games this season and is regarded as one of the brightest attacking talents in world football right now.
Dembélé’s talent is beyond doubt, but he is still very young. Furthermore, Celtic are likely to demand a premium if any of his suitors come calling in the summer.
It is also important to remember that Dembélé needs to play regularly in order to fulfill his potential, and therefore a move to Manchester United might not appeal to him. Mourinho‘s track record with youngsters isn’t particularly good, and the likes of City and Chelsea might have an advantage here.
Having said all of that, whoever ends up with the 20-year-old forward will have a potential star on their hands. Dembélé has all the attributes to become one of the very best in the world.
