Serie A giants AC Milan are looking to do few smart loan transfers in the closing stages of the summer transfer window. The Rossoneri are thought to be busy in negotiating a loan deal for Chelsea striker Fernando Torres, while the seven times European Champions haven’t given up on signing midfielder Marko van Ginkel either.
The 21-year-old joined Chelsea in 2013 from Dutch clun Vitesse but has hardly featured for the Blues. He suffered an anterior cruciate ligament injury last season that ruled him out for major part of the season, restricting his league appearances to only two games.
Chelsea are not known to be the sort of club who take great care of youngsters. Patience with kids is something the Londoners haven’t shown since the Russian business tycoon took charge of the London club.
It seems like Van Ginkel is about to facing the same fate which so many of youngsters have had faced in recent years while signing for Chelsea. The Dutchman hasn’t been included in the 25-man-list for the Champions League while hasn’t been included in the squad to face Everton this week.
Respected journalist and transfer guru GDM claim that AC Milan have given Van Ginkel 24 hours to decide whether he wants to ply trade in Italy. The deal can happen as Milan are working hard on that but it requires the necessary green signal from the player, who himself wants to stay at Stamford Bridge and not looking for a temporary move.
In case they miss out on him, that is the player refuse to move to Italy, Milan will try their luck to sign either of Saponara or Cristante.
