Serie A giants AC Milan midfielder Urby Emanuelson is set to join Premier League outfit Fulham on loan for the rest of the season.
The 26-year-old who joined Milan in 2011 from Eredivisie giants Ajax has dropped down the pecking orders at the club under coach Massimiliano Allegri in recent months.
Emanuelson made 30 league appearances last season for the Rosonerri and scored two league goals, but has only featured 12 times in the league this season bagging one goal to his name so far.
The Netherlands international is now heading to London for a medical and thereafter will sign the contract until the end of the season. He confirmed the move on Twitter:
A strange day.. Leaving Milano for London.. Tomorow we know more.. Goodnight everyone..

The versatile midfielder – who can play as a left back and as a winger as well – has previously played under Fulham manager Martin Jol at Ajax and is looking forward to gaining regular football under his belt. He told De Telegraaf:
“I will finish the season with a loan deal. I have worked in a very good way with him [Martin Jol] at Ajax and am happy as he gives me the chance.
“Martin has a lot of confidence in me and that’s what I need right now. At AC Milan I ended up on the bench from nowhere and I was really shocked with that. The previous two months were hard.
“At my age it is important to play week in, week out.”
If the deal is completed, which is very likely, he will become the second loan signing this month for the Cottagers after Emmanuel Frimpong joined from Arsenal.
Meanwhile, Belgium international Igor de Camargo has decided to stay in Germany by joining Bundesliga outfit 1899 Hoffenheim snubbing interests from Fulham and Everton.
Fulham were in advanced talks with Borussia Monchengladbach to bring the player on loan with an option to make the deal permanent. The 29-year-old has left England on Tuesday and will hold talks with Hoffenheim over a possible two-and-a-half-year permanent deal.
