According to Sport, Manchester United are close to reaching an agreement for the sale of keeper, Victor Valdes to Turkish outfit Besiktas.
The former Barcelona keeper is surplus to requirements at Old Trafford and is keen to join the Turkish outfit.
Valdes joined Manchester United from Barcelona last season and has fallen out of favour since then. The Spaniard’s refusal to play in the youth games has not gone down well with manager, Louis Van Gaal and the Dutchman is keen to offload the troublesome keeper.
Valdes is not the only Spaniard not enjoying the company of Louis Van Gaal. David De Gea is also infuriated with Van Gaal’s handling of his transfer situation and is keen to secure a move to Real Madrid as soon as possible.
Elsewhere, midfielder Ander Herrera is yet to start a game for Manchester United this season.
To sum it up, the Spaniards at Manchester United aren’t quite having it their way under Louis Van Gaal.
The Dutchman has signed an experienced number two in the form of Sergio Romero and Victor Valdes is set to complete his move to Turkey this week.
Furthermore, Manchester United are also looking to sign Brazilian striker, Pato from Sao Paulo and are interested in Wolfsburg midfielder, Kevin De Bruyne as well.
