Manchester United have rejected a bid from French giants Paris Saint Germain for young Adnan Januzaj and have made it clear that they will not enter into any sort of negotiation.
Januzaj, who signed his first major contract at Old Trafford in October, attracted interest from PSG and as reported by The Guardian, the French heavyweights tabled a significant offer to prise him away.
United quite understandably rejected the offer as they see Januzaj as a player who can develop into a world class talent in future. The club are not simply looking to enter into any sort of negotiation for the youngster.
The 18-year-old has made 10 league start to the season and has scored 3 goals so far. PSG were hoping to capitalize on United’s difficult first season under Moyes (out of all domestic cup competitions and currently lying 7th in the Premier League) with an offer on table for Januzaj, early in the season as well, but the youngster opted to continue his career at Manchester, rejecting offers from Spain and Italy as well.
PSG also have had a £14m bid for Newcastle United’s Yohan Cabaye rejected, while Manchester United are also thought to be in the race to sign the highly rated French midfielder.
