Marouane Fellaini’s career is set to be over withing the coming 2-3 days as the midfielder could well be shipped off to Italian side Napoli according to reports from Naples based media outlet Tutto Napoli. The report has cited Italian daily Il Mattino claiming that the Partenopei have made fresh contacts with the Red Devils or the 26 year old who has earlier been told by Louis Van Gaal that he has no future at Old Trafford.
It is believed that Napoli manager Rafa Benitez considers Fellaini as a perfect fit for his midfield and is looking to wrap up a deal for the Belgian. The Partenopei however only want the player on a season long loan with an option to buy. United are about to respond but their priority is to push the midfielder out of the club after a terrible debut season last term.
Fellaini did feature in United’s last pre-season match against Spanish side Valencia scoring a goal in the 2-1 win for the English giants. The former Everton player is also attracted to join the Naples based outfit where he would be able to link up with national team mate and friend Dries Mertens.
