According to TuttoMercatoWeb, Manchester United are preparing a €45m offer for Lazio midfielder, Felipe Anderson.
The Brazilian midfielder has been the talk of the town after an impressive season in Serie A last year. Linked with a move to Arsenal, it seems the exciting young midfielder has attracted interested from Manchester United as well.
Earlier this week, manager Louis Van Gaal claimed that his side is need of creativity and goals. Going by his claims, a bid for Anderson certainly makes sense. The Brazilian is a technically gifted attacking midfielder with an abundance of flair and intelligence.
The Lazio midfielder is equally good at scoring goals as well as carving out chances for his teammates. His agility, flair and link up play has turned him into one of the most exciting young midfielders in Italy.
Anderson can operate in a number of positions and is very good on the ball – qualities that are very important for Louis Van Gaal. United can definitely use another attacking midfielder to take some pressure off Juan Mata and the young Adnan Januzaj.
It remains to be seen if United follow up on their interest with a mega money offer, but there is little doubt that Anderson has the ability and talent to succeed at the very top level in the Premier League.
