Everton striker Romelu Lukaku is keen on a move back to Chelsea this summer.
Recently the Belgian forward stated that he has some “unfinished business” at Stamford Bridge and is willing to return.
The 22-year-old striker has been sensational since his permanent move to Everton and is being courted by several European heavyweights including Bayern Munich, Dortmund, Paris Saint-Germain, and Manchester United.
According to Mirror, the player prefers a return to Chelsea and wants to prove himself there after an initially failed spell at the London club.
The report also states that Chelsea are confident of landing the Everton striker this summer. The Merseyside club will look to double their investment if the Premier League champions come calling.
Everton paid 28 million pounds for Lukaku back in 2014 and the young striker is worth double that in today’s inflated market.
Lukaku is having a phenomenal season this year and has already scored 25 goals this season.
After a mixed season from Diego Costa, Chelsea will be desperate to sign another quality forward this summer and it seems Abramovich is ready to fund Conte’s revolution with some big money signings including that of Romelu Lukaku.
The news will come as a blow to Manchester United, who were hoping to sign the talented striker this summer.
