Liverpool winger Harry Wilson will be in demand in the summer transfer window but the Reds are taking time to decide what should be the best possible solution for him.
A host of clubs including Steven Gerrard’s Glasgow Rangers, Leeds United, Celtic, Hull City and Aston Villa all claimed to be interested in him.
According to reports from talksport, Rangers boss Steven Gerrard wants him at Ibrox, while Brendan Rodgers is equally interested in bringing him to Celtic Park.
Leeds, Aston Villa and Huddersfield Town want Wilson as well, according to The Scottish Sun, while The Hull Daily Mail has claimed that Hull could be aiming for another loan deal for the 21-year-old winger.
He enjoyed a fruitful 2017-18 campaign on loan at Hull City, where he scored seven goals and further assisted in three in just 11 starts for the Tigers.
According to The Glasgow Evening Times, Wilson would be keen on a move to Celtic in the summer transfer window.
However, Liverpool are not willing to send him to Celtic especially after the premature return of Charly Musonda back to his parent club Chelsea this summer.
Wilson is a fantastic young young talent and would be a terrific signing for Celtic, but Rodgers need to convince Liverpool that he will give him sufficient game time and take great care of his development.
If Liverpool are reluctant to sell him to Celtic, this could open the window of opportunity for Leeds as well to try and fork out a lucrative loan deal. Marcelo Bielsa is a great manager, and Jurgen Klopp could be tempted to send the youngster to play under him.
