PSG full back Lucas Digne is all set to leave the French giants, possibly on loan, in search of regular first team actions.
According to reports from French newspaper L’Equipe (newspaper edition) Digne could be loaned out to Roma soon. The defender could be replaced by Portuguese defender Raphael Guerreiro.
It’s Digne’s public wish to leave PSG this summer and at Roma he’d reunite with Rudi Garcia, who was his manager at Lille from 2011 to 2013. He wants regular playing time so he can be in contention for France’s Euro 2016 squad.
Digne has been heavily linked with a move to Liverpool this summer. Back in July, reported emerged in French media that Digne’s agent had been negotiating a transfer deal with Liverpool.
According to an exclusive report from Get French Football, PSG have agreed to let Liverpool negotiate with the left back’s agent.
Digne’s agent is currently in talks with Liverpool, but no formal offers have been presented at the moment. The defender will wait to make a decision till early August, when he returns from US.
However, it seems, Liverpool have completed their business for the 2015/16 season and as a result they have cooled all interest in Digne. As it stands, Roma are now favourite to sign him on loan.
