Liverpool defender, Mamadou Sakho, has been linked with a move away from Anfield since the start of this season. The French international has fallen out of favour due to his unprofessional behaviour during and after Liverpool’s pre-season tour.

According to Turkish outlet AmkSpor, Galatasaray are willing to loan Mamadou Sakho during the January transfer window and will submit an offer of €1m to loan him for 6 months. The report adds that Sakho wants to stay in the Premier League, and Liverpool are willing to get rid of him permanently. In that case, Galatasaray’s loan offer is unlikely to attract the club or the player. Also, it is important to note that Sakho turned down the chance to move to Turkey in the summer (with Besiktas).

Sakho has not played for the Reds this season, and the 26-year-old is in desperate need of some first team action. The former PSG star has lost his national team place, as well, and he will need to play regularly in order earn back his starting spot. It is clear that Sakho has no future under Klopp, and, therefore, a move is bound to happen sooner rather than later.

In other news, Atlético Madrid are closing in on the South American winger Juan Manuel Sanabria.

Marca are reporting that Sanabria visited Liverpool in 2015, and the Reds have a great relationship with his club, Nacional. However, Atlético’s excellent ties in South America seem to have swung the deal in their favour. The Spanish newspaper claims that Liverpool and Barcelona are interested in the player, but Atlético are now confident that they will end up signing the 16-year-old.

Liverpool were managed by Brendan Rodgers when Sanabria had a trial at Melwood, and it is quite possible that Klopp is not interested in the young talented winger. Whatever the case, Spanish media seem confident that the Reds have been beaten to his signature by Diego Simeone‘s side.
