Liverpool have confirmed their winger Lazar Markovic has joined Fenerbahce on a season-long loan deal on Sunday.
He made a switch to Anfield from Benfica last summer on a £20m. In his debut season for the Merseyside club, he made 34 appearances. However, the winger has not been included in Brendan Rodgers’ squad for this season.

The former Swansea manager signed Brazil international Roberto Firmino and the rise of Jordan Ibe has given the Northern Irishman more options on the wide position. He also can use last summer signing Adam Lallana.
The 21-year-old will now join former Manchester United duo of Robin van Persie and winger Luis Nani at the Turkish club. Rodgers will be hoping he can impress during his time at Fenerbache.
However, it still remains to be seen if Markovic can make it back to Liverpool’s starting XI next season, irrespective of his performance in this season.
