In a shocker of a result at Anfield, Fernando Torres has overcome Chelsea. A brace of goals from the Spaniard saw Liverpool cruise to a 2-0 victory over the English Premier League leaders and the unstoppable Blue force.
Finally, Carlo Ancelotti ran into someone who had an answer for him – not Roy Hodgson, Fernando Torres! The man is known to go down to the ground on the slightest of contact but also known to not take a fall if he knows he can put the ball into the net.
After a mediocre World Cup, an injury-struck start of the season, Torres could not have found a better time to start scoring again.
