If report from Italian media outlet Tuttosport are to believed, then Juventus are planning an astonishing move for Chelsea play-maker Oscar in the upcoming summer transfer window. It is believed that the Binconeri manager Massimiliano Allegri wants a creative player in his squad and was disappointed not to make a move for such a player in January.
However, given the Old Lady’s financial constraints, any such move for Oscar could see wither of Arturo Vidal or Paul Pogba leave the Turin side. Surprisingly, both are Manchester Unitd targets. Chelsea had signed Oscar from Brazilian side Internacional for around €30m and the player has a contract with the London side till 2019. Moreover Oscar’s market value could well be around €40m.
The report also states that Allegro had discussed with club CEO Beppe Marotta and sporting director Fabio Guild over Juventus’ summer transfer approach and the manager had said, “In the repair market it is difficult to get your hands on players who really can increase the quality of Juventus. So, instead of buying just to buy, better to wait. ”
This certainly hints that Juventus will have to sell before they can buy. However, there is no reason what so ever that Chelsea could sell Oscar in the coming summer or in the near future.
