Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy signed a new long-term deal at the King Power Stadium last month.
The England international has been linked with summer moves to Chelsea, Manchester United and Manchester City.
Now The Times are reporting that the Leicester star has a £30m buyout clause in his contract and his suitors will need to pay that if they want to sign him at the end of this season.
Regardless of his outstanding form so far this season, £30m is a steep price to pay for a 29-year-old with just one good season under his belt. It will be interesting to see if the Premier League giants make a move for the English striker now that his price has been decided.
Vardy signed a new three-and-a-half-year deal worth £80,000 a week. The 29-year-old has been one of the best players in the Premier League this season and is a major reason why Leicester are sitting at the top of the Barclays Premier League.
Vardy has scored 19 goals this season and is leading the scoring charts in the Premier League.
The England striker’s work rate and lethal finishing skills in and around the box has been a major concern for all defenders across the country.
