According to reports from Manchester Evening News, Everton are keen the secure the services of Adnan Januzaj on a deal before the transfer window slams shut. Roberto Martinez is a huge admirer of the young Belgian but it will take the player himself to push for a move.

We had earlier reported that Manchester United manager Louis Van Gaal had earlier blocked Januzaj’s loan move to PSG citing him as an important player for the squad.

The dazzling youngster though has only featured in 12 appearances this term with 8 of those coming from the bench. The report claims that should Everton fail to secure Januazaj’s loan deal by Monday night (the deadline day), they will renew their interest in the coming summer.

It is expected that United will spend heavily in the summer as there have been reports that the Old Trafford side have set aside €150m to acquire the signature of Gareth Bale from Real Madrid. This will mean that Januzaj will fall further down the pecking order in the Red Devils squad as Angel Di Maria and Juan Mata are currently ahead of Januzaj in the pecking order.
