Real Madrid have reportedly been interested in Eden Hazard of late with the Chelsea forward himself supposedly declaring interest in a move to the Spanish capital.
The Belgian international has now put any rumours to rest in an interview on Sunday evening.
Eden Hazard has been quoted by Canal Football Club Canal+ as saying he never declared any interest in moving to the 2014 UEFA Champions League winners.
Hervé Mathoux posed the following question:
“You said that Real Madrid was the only club that could make you leave Chelsea.”
Hazard replied:
“I never said that, I do not think so. I did not think so.”
“If there is a club that makes me dream? Yes, Chelsea!”
Chelsea signed Hazard from French Ligue 1 side Lille back in 2012 and has gone on to become one of the best players in world football.
Both Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain had been linked to the 23-year old over the summer.
Eden Hazard has started all 11 Premier League games for Chelsea so far this season and finished the majority of them. He is one of the key players in José Mourinho’s side that have built a four-point lead at the top of the Premier League.
