Manchester United legend Cristiano Ronaldo has a special bonding with the Old Trafford club. And why not? Under the tutelage of Sir Alex Ferguson, from a raw, talented, uncut diamond, he was transformed into a world class player. Those few years, were magical for him and for all the Old Trafford fans, isn’t it?
The sheer thought of him returning back to Old Trafford gives a different feeling and it adds a different dimension when he himself doesn’t rule out the chances of returning back to the club, where he is treated as a ‘demi-god’.
Ronaldo said as quoted by Manchester Evening News: “Of course, it was one of my favourite clubs, Manchester, everyone knows that every time when I speak about Real Madrid I should speak about Manchester United, I love it there.
“I was 18-years-old, I win everything there. The people treat me like a god there so I appreciate it and in the future nobody knows.”
Manchester United will take on Real Madrid in the International Champions Cup in Michigan on Saturday, where Ronaldo is expected to play against his former club.
Ronaldo was linked with a move to Manchester United last summer but he signed a new deal at Madrid that will keep him at the club till 2018.
