Liverpool will host Chelsea for the Premier League fixture at Anfield on Saturday.
The last time these two teams met at the same venue saw Brendan Rodgers’ side suffered a 2-0 defeat after Steven Gerrard’s slip helped former Blues striker Demba Ba open the scoring. The defeat for the Reds also ended their title ambitions, eventually finishing the previous campaign two points behind Manchester City.
This season, the situation is different as Chelsea are unbeaten in all competitions this season and their manager, Jose Mourinho would be looking to maintain that record when his side takes on Liverpool.
The confirmed line-up for the clash is given below:
Liverpool: Mignolet; Johnson, Skrtel, Lovren, Moreno; Gerrard, Can, Henderson; Coutinho, Sterling, Balotelli.
Chelsea: Courtois; Ivanovic, Cahill, Terry, Azpilicueta; Matic, Fabregas; Ramires, Oscar, Hazard; Diego Costa
