Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal has confirmed Angel Di Maria will miss the Red Devils’ crucial clash against Liverpool.
The 20-times English champions host their arch-rivals in the Premier League clash at Old Trafford on Sunday. The former Real Madrid star joined United earlier in the summer and had an impressive start to the season.
However, there was a dip in his form and the Argentine international picked up a hamstring injury during the Premier League clash against Hull City. Since then, he missed the last two matches against Stoke City and Southampton.
“Louis van Gaal tells #MUTV that Angel Di Maria is unavailable for Sunday’s game vs Liverpool but says #mufc’s injury situation is improving,” United tweeted.
