Chelsea have looked out-of-sorts this season, although all bets are off until Robben and Cole return and we’re able to see the ‘ideal’ team formation from Mourinho.
Being paired with Barcelona is both good and bad for Chelsea – on one hand they will avoid the champions in the knockout stages, and on the other hand finishing second in their group will, like last year, pit Chelsea against a top team and make life even harder for them.
With so much riding on winning the Champions League, you would expect Chelsea to ‘at least’ get to the quarter-finals – although one slip-up against Bremen on Tuesday and Mourinho will have a problem on his hands.
