Chelsea interested in Real Madrid forward Isco
Simon Johnson of the London Evening Standard reports Chelsea have turned their attention to Real Madrid’s highly rated attacking midfielder Isco.
According to the report, Madrid will do everything to prevent Isco from leaving in January. The spaniard is a highly talented player, but his spot has been under threat ever since the arrival of James Rodriguez.
He has started nine La Liga matches this season, majority of those have come when Rodriguez was absent through injury.
Isco’s role in the side may change now following the appointment of Zinedine Zidane as the club’s new manager, but the same was believed after Carlos Ancelotti was replaced by Benitez too.
