Chelsea are close to agreeing on a deal for Ghanian midfielder Christian Atsu.
The young winger is in talks with Turkish outfit Galatasaray and a deal is expected to be finalised this month according to reports from Ghana.
The reports state that Galatasaray officials are in London for talks with Chelsea and are hoping to secure his services for the rest of the season.
Atsu joined Bournemouth on a season-long loan earlier this season and failed to make his mark for the Cherries. Chelsea decided to bring him back from an unsuccessful loan spell and are willing to loan him out again.
Galatasaray are confident that the winger can help them this season and are willing to do a deal for the highly talented African star.
Atsu was a Golden Shoe Award winner at the AFCON 2015 and is looking to play regular first team football. It is evident that he is not in Hiddink’s plans for this season and a move away from Chelsea is best for all parties involved.
