Chelsea v Stoke City Preview: Easy win cannot hide Chelsea’s problems

Chelsea v Stoke City
English Premier Leagye
Stamford Bridge – London, England
10 March 2012 – 15:00 GMT

Chelsea are 1.4 to beat Stoke and everything suggests they are worthy odds-on shots.

the Blues have won seven and lost none of the last nine games against Stoke in all competitions, and lost just one of their last seven home games (W4, D2).

Throw in the fact that the visitors have won just four of their last 23 away games in the PL and have never drawn an away game in London in the top flight and you can see why Chelsea should win with the minimum of fuss.

Another plus as far as Chelsea is concerned is that no Premier League side has stopped them scoring at home since Liverpool back in February 2011.

So with a win for Chelsea looking a near certainty the question is who will open the scoring against the Potters.

Didier Droga is the type of striker who will cause the Stoke defence all sorts of problems, and he appeals most to bag the first at 5 with bet365 and Boylesports.

He is also a 2.05 chance to score anytime with bet365 and that looks good value given that most firms go odds-on.
