According to FootballItalia, Chelsea forward Mohamed Salah is set to complete a €25m to Roma this week.
The Egyptian has struggled to settle into the Premier League since his move from Basel and spent last season on loan at Fiorentina. The goalscoring wide-man enjoyed a successful short spell at Italy and is now keen to secure a permanent move to Italy.
Although Fiorentina are keen to secure his services permanently, it is believed that the player has spoken to Roma and has assured them about a move.
Chelsea are willing to let go of the winger as long as they get their desired price and will not stand in Salah’s way or dictate his future destination.
Roma finished second in the Serie A last season and are looking to strengthen this summer with the likes of Salah and Dzeko.
Salah scored 6 times in the league last season with Fiorentina and produced a few man of the match displays for the Viola. Roma are keen to take advantage of Juventus’ reshuffling this season with the likes of Pirlo and Vidal on their way out and Rudi Garcia believes that the likes of Salah will help him bridge the gap with Juventus.
