Jose Mourinho wants major change regarding contracts at Chelsea

According to an exclusive report from British media outlet Daily Express, Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho wants the see a major overhaul on how contracts are given to players at the club. Ivanovic has been a fantastic acquisition for Chelsea and co go down as one of the club’s best ever signings. The player joined from Lokomotiv Moscow in January 2008 for just £9m. Mourinho had earlier called the defender: “A competitive animal with a big heart.”

The reports states that Ivanovic is set to follow countryman Nemanja Matic, captain John Terry and dazzling winger Eden Hazard in getting new contracts for the Stamford Bridge side.
