AC Milan can go top of the Serie A table if they can win on Sunday against Napoli.

AC Milan will be without David Beckham, Alessandro Nesta, and Massimo Ambrosini for the match. Alexandre Pato, Marco Boriello, Luca Antonini, and Mancini could all return for the match on Sunday.
Milan have been in good form in the Serie A of late and have not lost since their derby match with Inter Milan in January. They were knocked out of the Champions League by Manchester United but now can focus solely on the Serie A. With Inter Milan slipping up in the last few weeks, the deficit is down to one point heading into the weekend.
Pato is the leading scorer for Milan in the Serie A with 12 goals followed by Ronaldinho and Boriello with nine goals each. Ronaldinho has been inconsistent since joining Milan from Real Madrid but he’s started to show signs in the last few months. While he’s not likely to regain his form that he had when he was FIFA Player Of The Year, he can still be a quality player that can provide moments of brilliance.
Napoli is led by Marek Hamsik who has nine goals in league play. They are in ninth place with 39 points heading into the weekend and five points from the last Europa League spot. There’s still time for the club to climb the table and a result at the San Siro would give them confidence. AC Milan has been dominating at home with a 10-2-2 record and +13 goal difference.
It should be a victory for AC Milan but unlikely to be by a large margin. Their 1-0 win over Chievo was much closer than expected and Napoli is a better side. It will probably start off very close and require a late goal for Milan to get the three points.
