Manchester united are unlikely to remain busy in the transfer deadline day, however, in football anything can happen, so let’s just wait till it gets over.
I have been saying this all throughout this month that if United are to spend heavily, they would happily do so next summer, once they book their place in top four. In January, when clubs are not that willing to sell their top players, getting targets at a reasonable price is bit difficult.
So, surprise us Manchester united. According to reports from Calciomercato, via The Telegraph, Manchester United could make a stunning £30m bid to persuade Roma to part with their star midfielder Radja Nainggolan.
Kevin Stoortman, a reported long term target, has suffered yet another injury, which probably have prompted United to shift their attention elsewhere. The Belgian midfielder, who has produced series of impressive performances in Serie A this season, has caught United’s attention.
In other news, Manchester United midfielder Darren Fletcher is unlikely to join West Ham, as Sam Allardyce says a move to sign him has broken down.
“Fletcher broke down on negotiations this morning,” said Allardyce after Saturday’s defeat against Liverpool.
United are willing to grant him leave to get regular games but not on loan for the rest of the season. Things could change however in next 24 hours.
