Chelsea have completed the transfer of Abdul Baba Rahman from Bundesliga club Augsburg, the club confirmed yesterday on their official website.
A picture is doing the rounds in the internet, showing Rahman Baba holding the new 17 Chelsea shirt after completing his move to Stamford Bridge.
The 21-year-old Ghana international enjoyed a fantastic campaign with Augsburg last season, helping his side finish in the Europa League.
Rahman’s arrival could see him fill the left-back role, and Cesar Azpilicueta moving to right back. Although both the clubs agreed not to disclose the transfer fee, as per the reports from The Times, it is around £21.7m.
