Put simply, these are the system requirements for Football Manager 2009. For the ‘technologically challenged’ these are the minimum attributes which your computer must have if the game is to work properly. However you want to put it, they are pretty damn important!
You will note that Windows XP (the old one) and Windows Vista (the pretty one) have slightly different needs. This is mainly because ‘the pretty one’ sucks up as many resources from your computer as it can. You will also note that there are system requirements for Mac users – this way ‘I have a Mac’ is no longer an excuse for not playing FM 09.

From personal experience, your computer will need more than the minimum requirements to run FM09 smoothly. The game will almost always run given the conditions above but anything lower and you will most likely encounter problems akin to West Brom’s defence last season. Yep, it can get that bad!
