Samuel Eto’o opened the scoring for Inter Milan in the Serie A game after bringing the ball from the half-line to the 18 yard box. Diego Milito doubled the lead a minute later, capping off a comprehensive move from his side.
Cesena managed to turn the game around in six minutes by scoring two goals. Half an hour into the game, the game was back level after seeing four goals. The Nerazzurri defense seemed to be complacent at moments and conceded two goals that could have been avoided.
Finally, in the stoppage time of first half, defender Cristian Chivu headed home to give Inter the lead. The second half, however, was not as happening. The highlight being Cesena’s striker Emanuele Giaccherini getting his marching orders in the 74th minute.
