CHELSEA will be confident of scoring a hatful of goals as they look to overcome Plymouth Argyle in the FA Cup on Saturday as their quest for silverware continues.
Chelsea had won three FA Cups in 98 years before Roman Abramovich bought the club in 2003. But another Wembley triumph this year would take them to nine titles – just four behind record FA Cup winners Arsenal.

Chelsea vs Plymouth Argyle preview
You have to go back to 1989 for the last time Chelsea met Plymouth Argyle at a time when both teams were in the old Second Division.
Their fortunes have swung in wildly opposite directions since then with Chelsea dominating domestically and winning the Champions League twice since their takeover.
After Plymouth’s six-year Championship stint ended in 2010, the Pilgrims dropped to League Two before eventually being promoted back to League One where they remain.
In 1984 Plymouth reached the FA Cup semi-final despite being in the Third Division and in 2007, Argyle got to the quarter-finals but lost 1–0 to Watford at Home Park.
Their chances of progressing beyond the fourth round this season look bleak as Chelsea have been ruthless when faced with lower league opposition.
Thomas Tuchel has complained about fixture congestion yet still picked a strong team in the previous round. Timo Werner, Callum Hudson-Odoi, Romelu Lukaku, Andreas Christensen and Hakim Ziyech all scored in a 5-1 rout of Chesterfield.
