Rangers are keen on signing the Oldham defender George Edmundson this summer.
According to Daily Mail, the likes of Stoke City and Hull City are interested in the player as well.
The young defender has done very well for Oldham and he is valued at around £450,000. The report adds that the player is keen on making a step up.
Despite his tender age, he has plenty of experience under his belt. The 21-year-old has already made 79 appearances for the League Two club.
Rangers would be a great move for him. The Scottish giants could help fulfil his potential. If he manages to develop properly at Ibrox, the transfer could look like a massive bargain in the years to come.
Steven Gerrard picked up an excellent bargain in Kamara during the 2018/19 season and he will be looking to do so again ahead of next season.
Edmundson clearly has the talent to play at a higher level and it will be interesting to see if Rangers are willing to give him the chance now. The Scottish club certainly have the resources to make the move happen.
Rangers need strength in depth to push Celtic for the title next season and Edmundson would be a handy signing.
