West Brom striker Saido Berahino and his representative Aidy Ward’s presence at Old Trafford last night during the FA Cup quarter final has sparked transfer talks in English tabloids this morning. The Daily Mail reports that the English International who has spoken about his desire to West Brom could move to Manchester United in the summer.
Berahino who has netted 13 goals in 28 appearances this season has also been linked with a move to Liverpool and Tottenham and his presence at the Theatre of Dreams last night could well see the Red Devils join the list of potential suitors.
United will definitely move for a striker in the coming summer transfer market given that Radamel Falcao’s deal might not be made permanent while 31 year old Robin van Persie has been struggling with injuries.
Berahino however, left his seat before the final whistle as 10 man United crashed out of the FA Cup with Danny Welbeck scoring the winner for the Gunners. Earlier Angel Di Maria was sent off for a second yellow for diving.
