Fresh reports this morning from Italian website TMW have cited a headline ( Fellaini can be done )from Corriere del Mezzogiorno claiming that Napoli are close to sign Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini on a loan deal.
Moreover the following snippet from Corriere Dello Sport also suggests that the Belgian is set to complete his move.
We had earlier reported that Napoli director Riccardo Bigon met the midfielder at a hotel in Brussels to discuss on a possible deal to bring the him to Stadio Sao Paolo. It now appears that Louis Van Gaal is also ready to part ways with the player who has endured a horrid time at Old Trafford since his £27.5m transfer deadline day move from Everton last summer.
Should Fellaini pen the loan deal at Napoli, it is believed that the Red Devils will pay half of the player’s wages. It’s reported that United will pay £50,000 per week to keep Fellaini in Naples while the Partenopei will pay the other half of his wage packet.
Fellaini comes on the back of a decent World Cup outing in Brazil but his future is almost over at Old Trafford. Will former Liverpool manager Rafa Benitez get the best out of the 26 year old.
