Swedish striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s potential transfer to Manchester United has been the story of this summer so far.

According to recent reports, Ibrahimovic’s move will be completed eventually as the striker has already signed a pre-contract agreement with Manchester United.

Apparently, the agreement was sent to him in the Swedish camp during the Euros and the player returned it after signing.

Italian journalist Tancredi Palmeri has confirmed this story to talkSport. He said: “He’s signed for Manchester United”.

“He signed an agreement in early June. It was sent to him at the pre-Euro 2016 training camp in Sweden, he signed it and sent it back.”

“It’s the pre-agreement to prepare for the move. That’s just how things work in football, it was the same with Mourinho and Manchester United.”

The 34 year old striker is now all set to link up with his former manager Jose Mourinho once again after their time together at Inter Milan.

Ibrahimovic scored 50 goals with Paris Saint-Germain last season and Mourinho will be hoping for a similar performance next season as the Red Devils look to win the Premier League title after a few disappointing seasons.

Manchester United needed a top class striker alongside the likes of Martial and Rashford to take some pressure off the young forwards and Ibrahimovic will do just that. He will also add much needed experience and winning mentality to the Manchester United dressing room.
