With all the domestic campaigns done and dusted, it is time for every club to focus on the transfer market and improve their chances of doing well next season.

Although the transfer window officially opens on the 1st of July, almost every club has started working on their deals and new signings are being confirmed every day. Here at Soccerlens, in our daily transfer news roundup column, we will bring you some of the latest stories from the last 24 hours.

Fee decided for Manchester United target James Rodriguez

Real Madrid winger James Rodriguez has been told that he can join Manchester United if the Old Trafford outfit pay a fee of 50 million pounds for his services.

The Colombian is angling for a move away from Santiago Bernabeu after a disappointing season where he was overlooked by Zidane and Benitez during their spells in charge of Los Blancos.

Rodriguez joined Real Madrid as a replacement for Di Maria the season before the last and impressed everyone under Ancelotti. He also had a very good World Cup, which convinced the Spanish giants to shell out a huge fee for him.

But the player is clearly unsettled now and Real Madrid are ready to get rid of him. Los Blancos are planning a big money move for Paul Pogba and the sale of Rodriguez could fund that.

Manchester United are interested in the player, but will need to pay close to their record transfer fee to land him this summer.

There are reports that James has put his house in Madrid up for sale and is looking into properties in Manchester already. His agent Jorge Mendes also represents Mourinho and has good relationship with United and therefore if the Old Trafford outfit decide to meet his asking price, a transfer could be fairly easy to complete.

Dortmund agree to sell Mkhitaryan for £32 million

ESPN are reporting that Borussia Dortmund have finally changed their stance on the Henrikh Mkhitaryan saga and are willing to sell him this summer.

The player and his agent are actively seeking a move away from Germany and the Armenian has also refused to sign a new deal.

With 12 months left on his contract, Dortmund are now ready to cash in on him.

The Bundesliga runners up will accept a bid of 32 million pounds for him. Mkhitaryan is one of the best attacking midfielders in the world right now and that fee could prove to be a bargain for United in the long run.

The player is playing in his peak right now and would improve Manchester United as a team with his undoubted quality.

Chelsea submit bid for Alvaro Morata

Chelsea have submitted a €50m bid to sign the Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata.

The Spain international re-joined the European champions after spending two years at Juventus earlier this week.

It is understood that Real Madrid are looking to sell him for a profit after buying him back on cheap, thanks to a clause in his contract.

Chelsea are looking to sign a partner for Diego Costa and Morata’s form has impressed the Blues.

Earlier this week, there were reports that the Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich personally scouted the player against Croatia.
