Manchester United on the verge of completing Paul Pogba transfer

French midfielder Paul Pogba is almost certainly leaving Juventus this summer if the media reports over the last few weeks are to be believed.

The likes of Real Madrid and Manchester United have already initiated contact with Juventus for the signing of Paul Pogba and the Old Trafford giants are closing in on a deal for him.

Jose Mourinho is ready to pay a world record fee for the young midfielder. United are willing to offer the player wages of around 300,000 pounds per week and will bid in the region of 100 million pounds for him.

The former Chelsea boss is keen to add to his midfield and believes that Pogba is the ideal candidate out there. Manchester United are in desperate need of a box-to-box midfielder, someone who can contribute in attack as well as defense.

Earlier this month, Spanish media claimed that everything is in order for the move to be completed. Apparently an agreement has been reached with the player with regards to personal terms.

Pogba is one of the finest central midfielders in the world right now and has the age and ability to justify his world record fee in the long run. Pogba had a superb season with Juventus last year, scoring 10 goals and providing 16 assists in all competitions.

Latest reports add that Real Madrid are still interested in the player and has asked Pogba to delay his decision so they can arrange the funds by completing a high profile sale. The likes of James, Isco, Kroos have all been linked with moves away from Bernabeu.

However, AS (via Sportwitness) are confident that Manchester United are on the verge of completing the world record transfer and things are almost done.
