Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand has confirmed that he will join Queens Park Rangers in the summer transfer window.
The former England international was allowed to leave Old Trafford as a free agent after the Red Devils decided not to extend his contract. Ferdinand joins his centre-back partner Nemanja Vidci to leave United after the end of the last season.
The 25-year-old confirmed his medical with the newly promoted Premier League side on Twitter.
