Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is planning to reshape his squad this summer and alongside all the new signings, there will be a few casualties.

Out of favour striker Christian Benteke and the long serving centre back Martin Skrtel are set for a future away from Anfield.

According to latest reports, Italian champions Juventus are ready to sign the Belgian striker from Liverpool and are willing to part with 19 million pounds for his services.

Liverpool signed him for a fee of 32 million pounds last summer from the relegated Premier League club Aston Villa. The Belgian has struggled to impress under Klopp and has found himself on the bench more often than not.

Benteke claimed a few weeks ago that he wants to stay at Anfield, but only if the manager provides him assurances of first team football.

With Daniel Sturridge fit and the likes of Origi and Firmino in the kind of form they are in, it is highly unlikely that Benteke will get another chance to prove his worth at Liverpool.

Furthermore, former Burnley striker Danny Ings is fit as well and has impressed Klopp in training.

Benteke leaving Liverpool would be ideal for the club and the player, but it remains to be seen if the Reds are willing to take a massive loss on the fee they paid for him 12 months ago.

As for Martin Skrtel, Liverpool have accepted a bid from Fenerbahce for the Slovakian captain.

However, recent reports are claiming that Italian side Roma are also interested in the player and Skrtel wants a move to Rome. Apparently, the Slovakian has already agreed terms with Roma.

Emanuele Giulianelli from Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport said (via Liverpool Echo): “Roma have reached an agreement for Skrtel. 3 years contract for the Slovak former Liverpool defender.”
