Liverpool have agreed on a fee for the Notts County wonder kid, Jack Bearne, if recent reports are to be believed.

Mirror are reporting that the League Two club have decided to sell the player to the Reds for a fee of £150,000. Bearne is regarded as one of the most talented young players in League Two, and the 15-year-old forward is expected to join up with the Liverpool academy soon. Jack Bearne made his U18s debut for Notts County recently and is well ahead of players his age in terms of maturity and ability.

Notts County are going through a financial crisis right now and have been hit with a petition from HMRC over a tax bill. Furthermore, debts of around £500,000 have forced the club to sell one of their prized assets in Bearne. The League Two outfit struggled to pay the players’ wages last month. Notts County are the world’s oldest professional football club and were formed in 1862.

At one point, it seemed like Notts County were closing in on a takeover by local businessman, Alan Hardy. However, the deal never went through because of the asking price. Hardy was not willing to pay the £6 million asking price for a relegation-threatened League Two side.
