Leeds United fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to express their reaction to reports linking the club with a move for Conor Gallagher.
According to The Athletic, Leeds are keen to sign the Chelsea midfielder on loan this summer.
The 21-year-old spent the last season on loan at West Bromwich Albion, and Marcelo Bielsa feels he is perfect for the Whites.
Leeds are looking to bolster their midfield, with Bielsa keen to sign a back-up option for Kalvin Phillips. Gallagher has been earmarked for the role.
The report claim that Leeds have tracked the midfielder throughout the summer, and it looks like a well-planned move.
Crystal Palace are equally keen, but Leeds have made an initial approach.
Leeds signed Lewis Bate yesterday from Chelsea, but the exciting teenager will be part of the under 23 squad.
Many Leeds fans feel that the club have missed a trick here by not adding a clause to buy Gallagher permanently next summer.
Leeds groomed Ben White when he joined from Brighton & Hove Albion on loan. White excelled and helped the club win the promotion to the Premier League.
However, the Yorkshire club failed to sign him permanently despite making several attempts last summer.
Some Leeds fans took to Twitter to share their thoughts on Gallagher’s potential signing.
Waste of time then – another Ben white situation

I think he’s best suited to the position which Klich plays in

Good player, but what's the point. Just another Ben White

We were expecting a permanent tbf mate, I can accept whoever we sign if I think Bielsa has the time to develop them and we benefit in the long run

Very good player! Ideally need to sign him though

White is on the verge of joining Arsenal after a fee in the region of £50 million has been agreed.
It has been claimed that Gallagher currently doesn’t feature in Thomas Tuchel plans, but the Blues do not want to sell him permanently this summer.
