Spanish giants Real Madrid have broken the world transfer record again to sign Tottenham’s mercurial winger Gareth Bale.
As per reports, Bale has agreed a £170,000 per week, six-year deal, after sealing a record breaking £85.3 million move, breaking the previous record of £80 million, the Los Blancos paid to Manchester United.
“I have had six very happy years at Tottenham but it’s the right time to say goodbye,” said 24-year-old Bale.
“We’ve had some special times together and I’ve loved every minute of it.”

Bale joined Spurs in 2007 from Southampton for £10 million, and his transition from a left-back to one of the world’s best winger around is simply remarkable. Last season he scored 26 goals and was named both the Professional Footballers’ Association’s and Football Writers’ player of the year.
